Dan has been fishing the waters of Howe Sound for over 25 years and has intimate knowledge of the various salmon runs that return to this area, their timing and location. Spending time with his guests allows Dan to share his passion for fishing and nature while searching for salmon, prawns, crabs and sometimes ling cod. The ultimate goal is to bring you a rewarding experience on the water with pictures and memories that will last a lifetime.

Bowen Island Fishing Charters include:
All bait ,tackle and gear
Prawning and crabbing (seasonal)
Cleaning and bagging catch (need to bring a cooler)
Magnificent scenery!
You will need to bring:
Lunch and beverages
Printed fishing license with salmon stamp
They are available on the Department of Fisheries site (under $20.00)
Appropriate clothing for various weather conditions so best to layer
Sunglasses and sunscreen
If prone to motion seasickness there are several over the counter medications and patches available
Maximum 4-5 people . Rates are the total cost for the time stated (not per person)
Pickup and Drop off at Horseshoe Bay or Snug Cove on Bowen Island

Half Day – 5 hours $650.00
Fish locally depending on where the current runs of salmon are. Multiple locations within a 20 minute boat ride  from Vancouver Harbour to Howe Sound

The above with the flexibility of tide changes and prawning and crabbing (seasonal)

Full day – 10 hours – $1,150
Opportunity to fish multiple locations through the tide changes , often involving the Gulf Islands as well, with the potential for whalewatching.
